Look forward to a workshop program filled with practical value for you. For the first time at the MHK Annual General Meeting, we are offering two attractive and relevant workshops on the topics of trends and marketing.

  • 3 Lifestyle Trends for 2026: Welcome to our Phygital Session!

Gudy Herder - Trend Consultant and Founder Eclectic Trends

What trends are we observing in the habitat and lifestyle sectors, and why now?

In this creative session, we will explore lifestyle trends through a digital presentation, followed by the opportunity to see and interact briefly with physical colour and material boards, creating a *phygital* experience.

We will delve into micro trends related to the areas of Wellbeing, Neo-Ecology, and Habitat—all tied to the question: “How do we want to live, and what has changed?”

You will learn how consumer values have evolved and how these are expressed in their preferences for color palettes and materials. We will explore sustainable and innovative material samples.

Throughout this session, each participant will gain a deeper understanding of how trends work and how they can be applied to their respective businesses.

  • Modelling for a More Profitable Business

    Michel Kitenge

In this interactive workshop, participants will leave with a high-level, modelled plan for the upcoming year, tailored to their specific business goals. We’ll begin by defining your end goals and work backward to outline the monthly kitchen sales needed, targeted average order values, and profitable margins that align with your overall objectives.

    Key topics will include:

    • The Impact of High-Value Kitchen Orders: We’ll explore how focusing on higher-value orders can reduce the required sales volume while increasing profitability, offering a more efficient path to achieving your goals.
    • Margin Blending: We’ll discuss how to strategically balance margins across kitchens and appliances to optimise overall profitability, ensuring a sustainable business model.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a clear, actionable plan to guide your sales strategy and achieve success in the year ahead.
