Cancellation conditions: 

I acknowledge that I can cancel the binding room reservation free of charge within 48 hours after booking, provided that the cancellation is received by us in writing. In the event of a later cancellation, I am obliged to pay the agreed fee for the room reservation, even if I do not make use of the services. Hotel cancellation fees ("no show") will be charged directly to me by the hotel I have booked. I am entitled to prove to the hotel that the cancellation fees have not been incurred or not incurred in the amount demanded. 

Payment processing: 

Payment processing by us only takes place in cases where, for example, hotel services provided by you or for third parties booked by you have not been settled with the hotel. Such services may include: participation has been booked, but the participant did not attend the event. In these cases, we process your data for invoicing using our accounting software.

 

If you participate in central settlement, invoices will be settled with us through the central settlement of IHT. In all other cases, you will receive the invoices by mail or digitally. 

Berlin City Tax: 

The stated prices do not include the Berlin City Tax. Due to the new overnight tax law effective from April 1, 2024, the overnight tax (City Tax) applies to both private and business trips in Berlin. The applicable City Tax at that time will be added to the net room price plus 7% VAT. This tax must be paid by each guest on site.

 

Liability disclaimer: 

MHK, as the organizer, does not accept liability for the loss or damage of property belonging to event participants, especially for cloakrooms, nor for other financial damages suffered by event participants. This does not apply to damages resulting from the breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal duty) or for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the organizer, its legal representatives, or its agents. The liability disclaimer also does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. 

Purpose of use / Note on the privacy policy: 

The data collected for registration for the MHK General Meeting 2027 of the MHK Group, Dreieich, is processed, used, and stored exclusively for the purpose of preparing, conducting, and following up on the event, and only for this purpose. We also point out that attendance lists are kept for the proper conduct of the shareholders’ meetings. For the participant list provided for this purpose, each participant gives their consent to limited viewing or sharing with other participants, unless this has been objected to in advance. For this, a brief message to events@mhk.de is sufficient.

Rights of use for image and audio recordings: 

Furthermore, by registering, I/we consent to image and audio recordings being made of me/us during this event, stored, and used for publication in print, film, social, and online media for the purpose of public reporting about the event. This consent is expressly also given for all event participants registered by me/us, for whom I/we are authorized to make this declaration of consent. Of course, you have the option to object to targeted individual recordings of yourself on site.
